The Web Client allows you to view inconsistencies in the data stored for an object that is shared between tools.
-
If the shared object has properties in a different UOM in another tool (that is, metric and imperial), SmartPlant Foundation converts the imperial measurement to the SI unit before doing the comparison.
-
The ClassDefinition property is not displayed as inconsistent.
-
A property value of “<b>” indicates that the property value is instantiated, but the value is empty. A property value of “Null’ indicates that the property value is not instantiated.
Viewing data inconsistencies on a CDW object
You can view the consolidated data for a selected object that has been published into different tool domains and view the inconsistencies between the published tool data compared to the consolidated object data.
-
Query for the consolidated object.
-
In the Actions pane, select Consolidated Datawarehouse > View Consolidated Data.
Each tool has a separate column, and any inconsistencies are highlighted in the color defined in the Legend section, as displayed in the following inconsistency report example:
Viewing data inconsistencies on a shared object

-
