Errors
The following messages display when trying to view a file or compare files:
Unable to retrieve the markup rendition
Created scheduled task to create markup rendition
Cause
Your users might encounter this problem if a markup rendition does not exist.
Solution
Your users can try again after the scheduled task completes and a markup rendition is created.
The main scheduler must be started to process the scheduled task. To verify:

Log on to the Desktop Client as an administrator on the application server.

Click Find > Administration > Schedulers.

Find MainScheduler.

Verify that the Enabled column shows True.
If the Enabled column shows False, right-click MainScheduler > Scheduler > Start.
To check the status of the scheduled task:

Log on to the Desktop Client as an administrator on the application server.

Click Query > Schedule Tasks, or click Query for Scheduled Tasks from the toolbar.

Provide the required information to find the scheduled task, and click Finish.
The default task name is Markup Rendition - FT_pdf.
