You can configure the amount of time in milliseconds (ms) before any action icons display in the shortcut ribbon when you hover over an object in a results grid. By increasing the debounce value, you can control how quickly the shortcut ribbon icons appear to users as they move their cursor across a results grid. This can help improve performance by reducing the number of server requests when you have a lot of users.
You can enter the debounce value using the Grid Hover Shortcut Debounce Duration setting in Server Manager. For more information, see Web Client Site Settings node.
You can disable the shortcut hover debounce value by setting it to zero (0). No server
requests are then made as users move across a results grid. However, the shortcuts
can still can be accessed in an overflow menu. This is the default behavior for tablets.
