You can merge a structure of data, such as a system, sub-system, or a workpackage, which contains all the mergeable objects along with any related dependent items that need to be merged at the same time.
A system or a sub system is an example of a data structure that contains the data you want to merge as a collection. When you merge a system, for example, all the sub-system objects that are ready to merge are merged to the higher configuration.
Another example of a data structure that you can merge is a workpackage. You can control what data is to be merged in the structure by using a defined graph definition that is named on the MergeStructure method. In this way, you can determine the scope of the data that you want to merge by expanding the graph definition from the starting object through the structure to the required data, such as Tags.

Select the object in a results grid that contains the data structure, and click Actions
> Concurrent Engineering > Merge Structure.
All the objects and their related dependent items are displayed in the Summary pane ready for review and resolving any conflicts before using the MERGE command. For more information, see Merge summary.
