During merge processing, the Merge Progress Notification message is automatically updated for the duration of the merge. The message is useful as you can review the statistical information for the merge, such as:

Expected number of merged objects

Actual number of processed objects

Actual number of processed relationships

Number of failed objects

Number of failed relationships

Merge status

Merge duration
The merge status is continually updated in the notification with the following states:

Processing - when the merge is in progress.

Completed - when the merge has successfully completed.

Completed With Errors - when the merge is complete but some objects were not merged due to errors.

Failed - when the merge failed due to connection or configuration issues.
The merge process runs asynchronously in the background with the merge progress notification.
As the merge progresses, you can continue to work on unrelated tasks, which is useful
when merging a large dataset.
