If you are upgrading to SmartPlant Foundation 10 and you are also using one of the products listed below, you will need to perform some additional tasks in order to continuing using that product in an upgraded environment.
Intergraph SmartPlant Fusion
Within the new version of SmartPlant Foundation, SmartPlant Fusion functionality is now known as Data Capture. Before beginning the SmartPlant Foundation upgrade, you must perform a few preparatory tasks related to SmartPlant Fusion to allow Data Capture features to work within the new version of SmartPlant Foundation:

Complete, clear or stop any tasks that are in progress in the existing installation of SmartPlant Fusion.

Stop all the SmartPlant Fusion scheduler tasks that are in progress.

Save the passwords of SmartPlant Fusion users provided with the software such as Fusionadministrator, Fusiondoccontroller, Fusionreviewer, and Fusionviewer because after the upgrade these users will be dropped and new corresponding Data Capture users will be created.
After the SmartPlant Foundation upgrade is completed, you must perform a few additional tasks to use Data Capture with the new version of SmartPlant Foundation. For detailed procedures, see Complete the upgrade of SmartPlant Fusion.
SmartPlant Master Tag Registry (MTR)
After you have upgraded your SmartPlant Foundation installation to the latest version, you will need to perform a set of tasks to upgrade your SmartPlant Master Tag Registry data for use with the new version of SmartPlant Foundation. SmartPlant Enterprise for Owner Operators (SPO/E)
After you have upgraded your SmartPlant Foundation installation to the latest version, you will need to perform a set of tasks to upgrade your SmartPlant Enterprise for Owner Operators data for use with the new version of SmartPlant Foundation. Intergraph Smart Data Validator
When you upgrade your database to the current version of SmartPlant Foundation, the database is automatically updated with the latest Data Validator target system schema, including the target system scheduler, VTLExportTaskScheduler. For information on upgrading your database, see Upgrade a site. You do not need to perform any other upgrade tasks to use the Data Validator target system feature within the current version of SmartPlant Foundation.
