Smart Production offers several ways to use storage locations in Smart Production Workshop. Use the parameters that best meet project needs to configure Smart Production System Settings
Assigned user rights can limit who can change the parameter values in Smart Production System Settings. If any parameter values are changed, you must restart all Smart Production Workshop applications and delete their respective browsing histories.
Storage locations
The following parameters control whether storage locations are available or hidden in Smart Production Workshop.

NWSStorageLocationUsed = True displays storage locations.

NWSStorageLocationUsed = False hides storage locations so that they cannot be used. Also, the Storage Locations page is unavailable.
The following parameters apply only if NWSStorageLocationUsed = True. If the storage locations are hidden, other parameters cannot be used.
Combo field
The following parameters control the display of the Storage Location field; you can show the field as a free text field or as a combo box.

NWSStorageLocationUseCombo = True displays the Storage Location field as a combo box. The available storage locations are shown according to other parameter settings.

NWSStorageLocationUseCombo = False displays the Storage Location field as a free-form text field. When saving the location, the application checks whether the assigned storage location exists.
Mandatory
The following parameters determine whether assigning a storage location is mandatory.

NWSStorageLocationMandatory = True requires assignment of a storage location upon completion of a package or cutting work.

NWSStorageLocationMandatory = False supports leaving the Storage Location field empty upon completion of a package or cutting work.
