If you want to issue material for a particular ident, you can create the MIR on the MIR by BOM Ident screen.

To define a MIR, create a new record using the Create MIR button in Material Issuing screen. Select the BOM Ident as MIR Type from a select list, and click create.

In the MIR By BOM Ident tab, select date from the Date picker in the Issue On field. Select the company from LOV Project Subcontractors.

Afterwards, click on the ident field LOV to open Ident List screen. You can filter with commodity group, commodity part, commodity code, ident code, or by directly by ident code. Click on the ident hyper link or click on Add button, to select an ident and add to the MIR.

Then in BOM Nodes for Material Issues Tab, click the Populate button to open the BOM List Nodes screen. Select the check box of all list nodes to be populated from in the List Node field or select all by clicking on Select all button at top right corner. To Unselect all, click on Unselect all button. Finally, click the Fill In button to close the LOV and copy all matching (containing the selected ident) list positions of the selected node(s) to the MIR.

Next, select the check box of all list nodes in the (BOM Nodes for Material Issue) block for which the material will be issued, or click the top check box to select all displayed list nodes.

When the MIR is posted using the Post button, positions with the Total Issued Qty field = 0 (zero) are deleted automatically in BOM Nodes for Material Issue tab.

For field descriptions and how to approve, post, and unpost a MIR, and how to create a revision, see MIR by Reservation.

The Only Site Status check box at the bottom of the screen controls which issue statuses the best quantity algorithm should consider. Unchecked means any issue status is considered. If the indicator is checked, only issue statuses marked as Yes in Use on Site on Issue Status are considered.

You must set this check box to the necessary setting before you populate issue line items from the BOM; changing the check box afterwards has no effect on issue records already present.

If the Zero Quantity indicator is checked (default), the list nodes with issue qty = 0 are populated. If this indicator is not checked, only list nodes with issue qty > 0 are populated.

The Select View button at the top of the second (BOM Nodes for Material Issue) block shows the BOM view defined for the login user on BOM Views. If more than one view is defined, you can change the view by selecting another one from the drop-down list. In the second block, all BOM attributes assigned to the selected view appear at the right of the Unit field.

To enable this feature, you must assign a list view, defined on the User Access for Projects screen, and for details, view Manage User Access for Projects.

In addition, you must define a BOM view for the C.20.22.04 screen on the B.10.06 BOM Views screen.

This BOM view is created based on the list view assigned to the user/project/discipline on User Access for Projects screen.

To define a BOM view, enter the view name in the View Name field and the view descriptions in the Short Description and Description fields. Select BOM from the drop-down list in the Used For field. The view type is automatically set to Personal in the View Type field. If you select the Default indicator, this view will be used as the default when the MIR by BOM Ident screen is called.
