All of the files that you specify on the PDMS File Locations dialog box are extracted from the PDMS database and must be stored in their correct file locations for I-Convert to work correctly. For more information, see Extract and organize data from PDMS.

Specification directory

Specifies the name of the project name folder, which contains the piping specifications to be processed. This field is mandatory.

SKEY Redefinition file

In I-Convert, certain SKEY’s trigger special actions. For example, a PB (pulled bend) triggers the software to not generate any catalog items as these are not required in the Smart Isometrics catalog. An RE** (eccentric reducer) triggers the calculation of an offset. An NBSC (barrel nipple) SKEY triggers the software to use the modifier column to determine the length. If you have any redefined SKEYs, these actions will not function. Therefore, you can specify an SKEY Redefinition file. This file lists the new SKEY together with an SKEY to which it is be mapped. This field is optional. For more information, see SKEY Redefinition file.

To avoid entering every user-defined SKEY in the SkeyUser.tbl , mapping the SKEY to a standard Isogen SKEY causes I-Convert to deal with the component as a standard component. For more information, see SKEYUser.tbl ile.

Map equations file

I-Convert uses its own built-in logic to determine the dimensions of components. However, you can specify a map equations file that maps equations to I-Convert dimensions together with an equation mapping file, which maps the equations to Isogen SKEYs. When you supply these files and an entry for the current component SKEY is found, the software uses this user-supplied mapping instead of its own defaults. This field is optional. For more information, see Map Equations file.

Equation mapping file

Specifies a look up table that shows how an equation map number is assigned to the Isogen SKEY. This field is optional. For more information, see Equation mapping file.
