The Apply Select List function can also be used through the Advanced Editor (as opposed to the Add Column > Invoke Custom Function approach).
The following steps provide an overview:

Follow steps 1-4 from the Use Select Lists section above.

Click Table under the Pipes column heading to navigate to pipes.

Select the View tab, and then click Advanced Editor.

In Advanced Editor, modify the code like the highlighted section below.
The editor assists by providing potential valid values as you type.

Click Done. The table re-evaluates, and the new "SL" select list value columns are added.
