Python Studio is a web-based interactive development environment, powered by JupyterLab. It is launched from within HxGN EAM to provide flexible building blocks for interactive, exploratory computing in Python at any stage of Python authoring. A script author can write a Python program that is intended to be published and run as a job or used to write reports in a multitude of rich outputs, leveraging any of the hundreds of Python open-source libraries.
Within Python Studio, the author can define breakpoints during the scripting process, and step through each action of the script and visualize in real time the data that is being computed and the resulting outputs.
