PlantState Integrity (PSI) is a comprehensive real-time operations risk management platform that improves process safety and asset reliability by optimizing operator situation awareness, the plant layers of protection, and process disturbance rejection.

The key improvements in this version deliver the following benefits:

  • Provision of Performance & Health UI to facilitate enhanced system administration and streamlined product support

  • Modernized methods of extracting PSI data to facilitate easy consumption by third party applications, including Power BI and Excel

  • Enhanced shelving capabilities to support Yokogawa Centum 3000/VP

  • Various changes throughout Windows and Web clients to enhance user experience

  • Updated setup utility to improve performance.

You must uninstall any previous versions of PSI and perform a new install for PSI 10 due to significant infrastructure changes in this version, including changes to interprocess communication methods and the new setup utility. This applies to all PSI components deployed at a site, such as PSI Server, redirector, and data collector components. For more information, see Upgrading PSI.

You also must upgrade any remote data collectors at the remote computer. Data collector upgrades cannot be performed remotely when upgrading from versions of PSI before 10.
