The comparison rule triggers when one of the common part definition (Itemized Part Rule Set, Structural Modeling, and Structural Production) is selected. Every property type that is mentioned as rule based in the common part XMLs is compared.

If the property type is Rule, then the Attribute property types are treated as Rule-based property type.

If the property type is Attribute in the Edit Rule Settings, then the property is treated as Rule-based property type in Test Rules. For more information, see Common Part Utilities in the Planning User’s Guide.
