If the data in the Excel file does not match the product's data model, a message is displayed in the ribbon: 'File imported with errors.' If this message appears, follow this procedure to fix the data in the Excel file.
View the errors in the validation report log file.
The validation report log file is located in the following path: "..\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Local\Temp\Intergraph\MDI\Reports\" and has the generic file name: <Excel file name> - ValidationReport.log.
Correct the data values in the Excel file by following one or both of these procedures, according to the type of data that needs fixing:
Re-import the file.
