You can cancel a change action either by using the workflow or by using the Cancel button.
You can only cancel change actions that are in the Open or Open Pending-Fix state in the Web Client.

Click Change Management > Change Actions.

Select the change action you want to cancel, and click Actions > Cancel.
If you encounter a transaction deadlock error while canceling a change action, it might be because another user is working on the same set of objects using an operation like Extend, Reduce, or Transfer which locks objects. Retry the operation again later.

When you cancel a change action, any primary common schema objects that are associated as part of the change are removed.

All synchronizations must have been completed before the change action is sent to the next step in the workflow.
