Enumerated lists in a property definition can be combined to form an enumeration hierarchy defined as an Enumerated List Level property. These can be used to describe all the enumerations at a given level in an enumeration hierarchy. When enumerated lists are combined in an Enumerated List Level, they create child enumerated lists that can be referenced by other enumerated lists.

An Enum List Type can contain Enum entries or other Enum List Types, which contain entries for the Enum List Type above them in the hierarchy. Enum List Items can then be extended to the Enum List Level. When a property definition has an associated enumerated list level type, it effectively allows pick lists to be defined that are dependent on the selection of other entries.
