Supports facilities that do not warrant an individual section. Currently, this section is only used to define bend radius values.

The input structure in this FDF section is a section heading:

MISC-DEFINITIONS

followed by the bend radius definition:

BEND-RADIUS data units

where

  • data = the pipe bend radius.

  • units = inches or millimeters,  when RADIUS is a value, and D when the radius is a number of pipe diameters.

Consider the following:

MISC-DEFINITIONS

BEND-RADIUS 5 D

Other typical data inputs are:

BEND-RADIUS 3 D

BEND-RADIUS 5.5 D

BEND-RADIUS 12 INCH

BEND-RADIUS 18.5 INCH

BEND-RADIUS 220 MM

BEND-RADIUS 1250 MM

Bend radius information is used by both the CoG and weights facilities.
