The Repeat Data command uses the style in the Repeat Style property in the I-Configure project defaults.

At the onset of the Assign Repeat Data process, the software takes one of the following actions, depending on whether it is the first time the pipeline has been processed or it is a subsequent version:

  • Pipeline Processed for the First Time - For the options selected in the Assign Repeat Data dialog box, any repeat data in the PCF, IDF or assigned during by Isogen during import, is cleared and new repeat data is assigned using the style specified in the Repeat Style property. If the repeat style is set to match those used in the Design phase, then consistency is maintained between the Design and Fabrication phases.

  • Subsequent Versions - Any repeat data in the PCF, IDF or assigned during import by Isogen, are cleared. Repeat data that was assigned during the initial run, which is stored in the pipeline object fata (POD) file, is reinstated. Any new data is assigned using the style specified in the Repeat Style property. If the repeat style is set to match those used in the Design phase, then consistency is maintained between the Design and Fabrication phases.

  1. Click Tools > Repeat Data > Assign.

  2. Use the options in the Assign Repeat Data dialog box to specify which data is to be repeated.

  3. Click OK.

  • When a revised data file is received, he weld numbers do not necessarily match those previously created.

  • To remove all repeat data (weld numbers, part numbers, drawing split points, and spool identifiers), click Tools > Repeat Data > Clear.
