The Change Material command applies only to welds and supports.

On the pipeline, select a weld or a support.

Click Edit > Change Material.
The Select New Material dialog box displays.

Select the material to use to replace the material of the selected component type, and then click OK.

You can use the Select Like command to change all like components simultaneously.

To verify that the material change has been applied, view the fly-text associated with each component.

The Select New Material dialog box displays all the materials that currently reside in the material database.
