Place an information item - Intergraph Spoolgen - Help

Typically, you use the steps below to place most information items::

1. Click Place Info on the Place toolbar, or click Add > Annotation.

2. Use the Selection ribbon to specify the type of information item to place.

3. Select the location on the pipeline where the information item is to display.

The software may display additional options depending on the type of information item you are placing. For example, some end connections require that you define a nozzle or pipeline reference, while messages, or annotations, enable you to include associated text.

You can place the following information items on the drawing:

• Messages

• End Connection and End Position messages

• Information Note

• Insulation Symbol

• Location Point

• BIP Identifier

• Drawing identifiers

• Cut Piece Allowance

• ByPass Closure
