Before beginning an installation of the SmartPlant software, verify that your servers meet the requirements in this section.
SmartPlant Engineering Manager may be installed on its own workstation or it can run on the same computer with other engineering applications, such as SmartPlant Electrical or SmartPlant P&ID.
We recommend that you do not install the SmartPlant software on the database server.
