Create Welding Procedures - Intergraph Smart WQMS - 5.0 - Help - Hexagon PPM

In this module, you can add, view, and update welding procedures for the selected welding process.

1. Click Welding Procedure.

2. Click Add Item .

3. Enter the following information:

   • Procedure ID - Specifies a unique ID for the welding procedure.

   • Discipline - Specifies the discipline of the welding procedure. Select a discipline from the menu list.

   • Weld Process 1 - Specifies the welding procedure. Select a weld process from the menu list.

   • P" Number 1 - Specifies the P number. Select a P number from the menu list.

   • F" Number 1 - Specifies the F number. Select a F number from the menu list.

   • Number 1 Max Thickness - Specifies the maximum thickness for the weld.

   • Vertical Welding 1 (up, down, both) - Specifies the vertical welding.

   • Backing 1 (with/without) - Specifies the backing.

   • Backing Material 1 - Specifies the backing material.

   • Shielding Gas 1 - Specifies the shielding gas.

   • Shielding Gas Composition 1 - Specifies the shielding gas composition.

   • Insert Gas Backing 1 - Specifies the type of inert gas backing required.

   • Insert 1 (Yes/No) - Specifies whether inert gas backing is required.

   • Product Form 1 (solid/flux/metal cored) - Specifies the product form.

   • Joint Position 1 - Specifies the joint 1 position.

   • Current Polarity 1 for GTAW - Specifies the polarity for GTAW welding.

4. Click Save.
