You can calculate the values of various column-items throughout Weld Quality Management System. Auto calculations are defined on the WQMSSelfLoadMappingDef sheet in the WQMS-Admin Excel file.

  1. Open WQMS-Admin Excel file.

  2. Navigate to WQMSSelfLoadMappingDef sheet > WQMSAutoCalculateMapDef section and edit the following properties:

    • UID - Type a unique identifier and copy it in the required field in the ColumnSet sheet.

      For example, WQMSAssgnRules_WPS.

    • Name - Specify the name for WQMSAssignmentRulesMapDef.

    • Description - Provide the description for the object.

    • ContainerID - Defines the package or .xml file that contains the object.

    • Solution(s) - Type * to load the data to SPF database, or type Deleted to avoid loading the data to SPF database.

  3. In WQMSAutoCalculateRelatedObjMap section, defines the relationship between source property and target property. The properties mapped must be auto calculated.

    • UID - Type a unique identifier.

    • Name - Specify the name for WQMSAutoCalculateMapDef.

    • Description - Provide the description for the object.

    • WQMSAutoCalc_ReferenceProperty - Provide the reference property for auto-calculation. The interface of the property and the reference properties are separated with the pipe | symbol.

      For example, IWQMSWeld|WQMSWeld_Drawing1Number.

    • WQMSAutoCalc_RelatedClassDef - Specify the target class for which the property must be auto calculated. This value from the WQMSAutoCalc_ReferenceProperty is auto calculated at the target property of the related class definition. The interface, its class definition, and the target property are separated with the pipe | symbol.

      For example, WQMSWeldGroup|IObject|Name.

    • ContainerID - Defines the package or .xml file that contains the object.

    • Solution(s) - Type * to load the data to SPF database, or type Deleted to avoid loading the data to SPF database.

  4. In WQMSAutoCalculateMapDefRelatedObjMapDef section, defines the relationship between WQMSAutoCalculateMapDef and WQMSAutoCalculateRelatedObjMap:

    • UID - UID1.UID2.

    • UID1 - Type a unique identifier for WQMSAutoCalculateMapDef.

    • UID2 - Type a unique identifier for WQMSAutoCalculateRelatedObjMap.

    • OrderValue - Specify the order in which the properties must display based on increasing value of OrderValue.

    • ContainerID - Defines the package or .xml file that contains the object.

    • Solution(s) - Type * to load the data to SPF database, or type Deleted to avoid loading the data to SPF database.

  5. In WQMSAutoCalculatePropertyMapping section, update the values of one property of an object to another property of same or different object. This property specifies the column-items that must be auto calculated.

    • UID - Type a unique identifier for WQMSAutoCalculatePropertyMapping.

    • Name - Specify the name for WQMSAutoCalculatePropertyMapping.

    • Description - Provide the description for the object.

    • WQMSAutoCalc_TargetProperty - Specify the target property for which the value must be auto calculated. The interface of the property and the source properties are separated with a pipe (|) symbol.

      For example, IWQMSWeld|WQMSWeld_PipingClass.

    • WQMSAutoCalc_Conditon - Specify whether the auto calculation should be performed with a value from the same object or a different object.

For example, Obj->IWQMSWeldGroup|WQMSWGrp_PipingClass: if Obj-> "s used, then the source and target are on different objects Obj.IWQMSWeld|WQMSWeld_FUP_RNumber: If Obj. is used, then the source and target are on the same object.

    • WQMSAutoCalc_CanOverwrite - Specify whether a property should be overwritten during auto calculation. Set this to True to overwrite the property during calculation, The property overwrites if the target property has a value in it prior to auto calculation. Set this to False if you do not want to overwrite the property during calculation.

    • ContainerID - Defines the package or .xml file that contains the object.

    • Solution(s) - Type * to load the data to SPF database, or type Deleted to avoid loading the data to SPF database.

  6. In WQMSAutoCalculateExtendedPropertyMap section, define the conditions during which the auto calculations should be honored on an object:

    • UID - UID1.UID2.

    • UID1 - Specify the UID for WQMSAutoCalculateMapDef.

    • UID2 - Specify the UID for WQMSAutoCalculatePropertyMapping.
