Insert - Adds new data to the destination spec.
Update - Modifies existing data in the destination spec.

Fill out the specification details for Header, Items, and Definitions.
For each option, specify how the data is handled in the destination spec. While copying specs for the first time, you can select Insert. Later, if the source spec has been modified, then you can select both Insert or Update so that the modifications in the source spec are passed on to the destination spec.

Selecting both Insert and Update adds new data and modifies existing data in the destination spec. If no value is selected, the software does not add or modify data in the destination spec.

Select the Create Log File check box if you want the software to save a log file for the copying process.

You can select Use Existing option at the bottom of the screen, if the geometric/commodity/short codes exist.
You can also choose to create the geometric/commodity/short codes with dummy characters by selecting Create with dummy characters, and then typing _Copy in the Append Characters box.

Click Next to select the target spec (applicable only for the single source spec selection).

Select Spec Type as SDB_PIP click Copy from the bottom of the screen.

System prompts the below message. Click Yes from the below message:

Below window is displayed:

Edit the Target Spec Code as per your requirement and click Save.

Close both the windows.

Refresh the tree view to see the copied specification.
