You can restrict users from updating the configuration details of a job such as destination, data table mappings, etc. (except job goal) so that the data in the destination is consistent. To configure this, a general configuration item JOB_CONFIG_UPDATE is created, with item values as 'Y' and 'N'. Depending on the values selected for the newly created general configuration, users are either allowed or restricted from changing the job configuration details.
