Add Flanges
-
Open the Spec Editor and click on Components tab.
-
Add the commodity code for Slip-On-Flange in the specification items as shown below.
-
Similarly, create or select the Weld Neck Flange commodity code in the spec item as shown below with Option 171. Save the changes.
If Option Code 171 does not exist for Short Code FLF, then go to SRD > Spec > Short Code Management to add it.
-
Save the changes.
Add Gate Valves
-
Create or select the commodity code for the GateValve as shown below:
-
Save the changes and lock the grid
Building Idents for Gate valve
-
Select the gate valve spec item and click on Show Idents of the Spec command from the grid menu.
-
Click the Build Idents button to generate the idents. The grid view will be refreshed, and the idents are displayed.
-
Click OK to close the Spec Idents window.
-
Go to Integration > Smart3D > Smart3D Transfer Jobs. Create a New Run of the export job CC150-1 and start the job.
You have not defined the valve operator yet.
Adding Valve Operator Data
-
Go to Integration > Smart3D> S3D Configuration, click on Templates tab and expand TRAINING_TEMPLATE from the tree view.
-
Double-click OPHandwheelDB148 sheet to open its grid view. Click Filter button in the grid view and enter the below details to show only those entries with ValveOperatorNumber=GAT-Bolted-CL150-3
-
Make sure Valve Operator Data is added in OPHandwheelDB148 sheet.
-
On the Templates tab, select the ValveOperatorMatlControlData sheet and make sure OperatorPartNumber GAT-Bolted-CL150-3 exists, if not add the valve operator.
-
On the Attribute Mappings tab, make sure ValveOperatorCatalogPartNumber attribute is added for valve operator part and assigned for the Valve Group and Part.
-
This attribute value will be populated in PipingCommodityMaterialControlData sheet.
