You can create a class system by copying an existing SDB_ENTERPRISE_CONTENT class system.

  1. Navigate to CMS > Manage Class Systems > Create Class Systems.

  2. In the CMS Class Systems grid, click Edit grid Edit grid.

  3. To add a new row, click Add row and then type the following values:

    • Class System Code: RC_CONTENT

    • Revision: 0

    • Short Desc: RC Content

  4. Click Save gridSave grid icon and then click Read-only grid Read-only grid to set the grid to read-only mode.

  5. Navigate to CMS > Manage Class Systems > Create Global Properties.

  6. In the CMS Global Properties grid, select all the SDB_ENTERPRISE_CONTENT class system rows, right-click and then click Copy.

  7. Select a row, right-click and click Paste.

  8. In the Class system- revision LOV, select RC_CONTENT for all the new rows (rows that you just copy-pasted).

  9. Click Save gridSave grid icon and then click Read-only grid Read-only grid to set the grid to read-only mode.

  10. Navigate to CMS > CMS Component Manager.

  11. In the explorer, select RC_CONTENT Rev.1.

    If you see the below error message, click Continue.

  12. Right-click in the explorer, click Manage Class and select Add Class.

  13. Select the Root Node check box and type the Class Name, Ctrl, Short Desc as shown in the following screen. Then click Save.

  14. Switch back to the SDB_ENTERPRISE_CONTENT from the Explorer drop-down.

  15. Expand SDB_ENTERPRISE_CONTENT. Right-click the STRUCTURE Node and select Copy.

  16. Switch back to RC_CONTENT from the Explorer drop-down.

  17. Right Click on the RC_CONTENT_ROOT node, click Edit and select Paste (Class) option.

    This option will take some time depending on the amount of data.

  18. Expand the STRUCTURE node and review the data.
