In the tree view, click expand corresponding to an item mapping to view the data tables.

  1. Double-click a data table for which you want to map the components.

  2. On the Data Table Mappings tab, click Edit Grid to unlock the edit options.

  3. Click Add Row .

  4. In the Group cell, click Selection list or press F9 to select a group.

  5. In the Part cell, click Selection list or press F9 to select a part.

    • Because there can be many commodity codes and ident codes in the Smart Reference Data database, you can map commodity codes and ident codes for a particular group and part combination. You can also apply additional filters such as table details.

    • It is recommended that you do not select any values for the Commodity Code and Ident Code columns.

  6. Apply the following additional filters to map the commodity codes and ident codes, if needed: Table details (Table 1, Group 1, Detail 1, Table 2, Group 2, Detail 2, Table 3 , Group 3, Detail 3)

  7. To apply additional hidden components (filters) for mapping component data to a data table, perform the following:

    1. In the Data Table Mapping tab, click View View button.

    2. In the Grid View Display Condition window, in the Hidden column, select an item and click arrow to move it to the Visible column.

  8. Click Save Grid and then click Read-Only Grid to set the grid back to read-only mode.

SHARED Tip When mapping components to a data table, click Check GridCheck grid on the Data Table Mappings tab to verify that you have entered all the mandatory data.
