Some of the engineering or procurement data might be external to Smart Materials and is handled in the form of an attachment to a requisition, inquiry, or agreement. The possible external sources for documents can be technical evaluation checklist data, vendor data requirements, and so on.

From the Home page, select Administration > Global Setup > File Setup > File Sources.

Click Add Row.

Type the application name in the Application cell.

Type the command line argument for the application in the Command Line cell.

Enter the short description and description.

Type the file extension for the application in the File Extension cell.

Enter the prefix and postfix values for printing and click Save.
