Click SRD > XS20 Spec > XS2050 Spec Compare.

In the left navigation pane, select a Project, Spec Type and Spec Code from the Source Spec and the Target Spec.

Double-click Specification Header Geometrics under Specification Compare.
The Display Options pane on the right displays the records comparing the source specification and the target specification.

Identical records are displayed first, indicated by white background color.

The records with details available only in source specification is indicated by green background color.

The records with details available only in target specification is indicated by cyan background color.

The records with same unique key, which defines a particular record, in both source specification and target specification is indicated by an orange color background. Note that other values differ.

The records with mismatched columns are displayed with a header in pink color background.
Save a search record
When you compare a source spec and a target spec, the search results can be saved.

In the left navigation pane, in Spec Configuration box, type a name for the search you just executed.

Click Save .
The search result name will be available in the drop-down list.
Search a specification code
If you do not remember the complete spec code details, you can use Search Spec feature to search for both source and target spec code.

Click the ellipsis next to Source Spec or Target Spec.
The SearchSpec screen is displayed.

In Spec Code box, click to view the complete list of values.

Click a spec code in the grid and click OK.

Click Search.
The Search Results pane displays the results with the selected spec code.

Select the spec code and click OK.
Similarly, you can compare specification items, specification header notes and specification attributes.
