Table links are used to add additional information to the base commodity code. Tables can be linked to each other across various groups by linking the table details of the respective tables. Using the table detail link, an unrestricted number of COMMATTR tables, groups, and details can be linked to the existing commodity code information.

Click SRD > XS10 Component Manager > XS1040 Table Management.

Select either Table Types (for Details)/Tables/Table Groups/Table Details or Table Types (all)/Tables/Table Attributes from the list in the tree view.

Double-click a table type to open the Tables grid. All the tables in the selected table type are displayed in the grid.

Click a table row header for which you want to create table links.
You can view the Table Links grid below the Tables grid.

In the Table Links grid, click Edit Grid
.

To add a new table link, click Add Row
.

Select the table name from the Selection list
, and click OK.

Click Save grid
and then click Read-only grid 
to set the grid back to read-only mode.

To delete a linked table, right-click the row header, and click Delete or press DELETE key.

A table can be linked only once to a parent table.

You cannot link tables to a parent table belonging to a product group if you are logged into the project.

You cannot delete a table if it is linked to other tables in a table type.
