A template is a named set of data tables that is used in the transfer procedure to fill the Smart 3D data tables by simply copying the data from the template. The template are project dependent.

To define templates for the transfer to Smart 3D, click Integration > XI20 Smart3D > XI2030 Smart3D Configuration and select the Templates tab.

To create a new template, click Add PropertiesNew above the tree, type the template name and a comment, select a data table configuration from the select list, and click Save SaveGrid. Click Refresh Refresh to display the new template in the tree.

The existing templates are listed in the tree on the left. Click the + next to the template name to view all the data tables assigned to a template.

Double-click a template name to view the details in the grid on the right.

To add data tables to a template, click the Add PropertiesNew above the grid. A multi select list is available in the Data Table cell to add multiple data tables in a single step.

To view sheet details, expand the template in the tree and double-click the data table.

Copy and Paste Smart 3D Templates

You can duplicate an existing template with the corresponding data tables and data. Furthermore, you can copy (or cut) specific data table(s) with data from single or multiple template(s) to another template.

Right-click the template in the tree to open the shortcut menu.

You can multi select and copy data tables using Copy from the shortcut menu or CTRL+C. Then, assign the selected data tables to the destination template using Paste from the shortcut menu or CTRL+V. Alternatively, you can drop data tables onto the destination template.

If the selected data tables are not available in the destination configuration, a window opens where all the missing data tables are displayed. If you select the same data table from two different templates, this conflict is shown.
