10.2

The dimensions of the part are saved in Smart Reference Data geometric tables. All geometric tables that are assigned to a commodity code and displayed on S.40.22 Commodity Geometric Relation are available for the print.

By pre-defined rules, you can set the number, the column header, and the order of the dimensions that will be printed.

The definition of such a rule on DS.10.01 Data Sheets is similar to the rules defined on S.40.21 Geometric Rules. In addition to the rule code and an optional description, the group codes, part codes and commodity codes for which the rule shall be valid are set in the first block.

In contrast to S.40.21, where all rules that are met by a commodity code are consulted, for the data sheets only the most exact rule will be used.

For example, if there are the following rules:

  • A with Group Code = P / Part Code = % / Commodity Code = %,

  • B with Group Code = P / Part Code = RP / Commodity Code = %.

For the commodity code PRPBBA1 (with part RP) only rule B will be used, and for the PAPBCA1 (with part AP) only rule A.

In block 2 you define the selection and order of the dimensions. You can only select those attributes, which are used in the geometric tables. If no rules are defined or if no rule meets a commodity code, all dimensions will be printed.

The rule definition makes it possible to form the number, order, and order sequence of the dimensions. A variable layout of the type size depending on the field sizes and number is not possible.

If the dimensions table extends the paper size, the order fields will be repeated at the page makeup and the remaining fields will be printed.

The filtering of the nominal sizes is realized as follows:

  1. Filter pipe class dependent yes/no.

  2. If yes, then only the commodity codes and nominal sizes, which are available within pipe classes, will be printed.

  3. The name for the table of values with value range (LOV) for nominal size and wall thickness will be questioned by starting the report.
