A catalog structure is a named set of catalog elements. A catalog structure also means the hierarchy in the PDMS/ E3D catalog. For different disciplines and for different PDMS/ E3D catalogs or installations, you might have different catalog structures. Not only can you view a catalog structure, but also you can create Catalog Structures on the fly from Smart Reference Data software that are attached to PDMS/ E3D Destination. Standard Catalogs are delivered with the software. The Standard check box indicates whether this catalog structure is part of the standard delivered with the software. The standard data is used as is and are read-only.
