The Smart Material Application Server and the Smart Material users must be in the same Microsoft Windows domain.

You can use Microsoft windows operating system username to configure automatic login into the Smart Reference Data.

  1. Log on to Smart Materials, and click Administration.

  2. Under GLOBAL SETUP, click DBA Settings.

  3. Under General DBA Settings, search for SINGLE_SIGN_ON, and then select the Active check box for the Setting Value, ON.

  4. Under GLOBAL SETUP, click Users.

  5. Search for the Smart Reference Data user, and then type the windows operating system user's name in the OS user box.

The OS user name format must be <Windows Domain Name>\<Windows User Name>. For example, MY_DOMAIN\MY_OS_NAME.

SHARED Tip To deactivate the Single Sign-on functionality, clear the Active check box for the ON value, and select the Active check box for the OFF value.
