The Show Copy Properties command is available in the Assign Properties grid by right-clicking or pressing F4. This command provides an easy way for you to copy properties by dragging and dropping.

Class Systems tab

When you click the Show Copy Properties command, you see the following window. On the Class Systems tab, the tree view on the left displays all the classes in the selected class system. You can select a class system from the combo box at the top of the tree view.

When you right-click a class, the Display Properties command appears. Use this command or press F4 to view the class properties.

When you right-click a property, the Show Details command appears. You can use this command or press ALT+ENTER to open a balloon pop-up showing the details of the attribute.

You can drag and drop the selected properties into the grid.

The following message appears when you drag and drop the properties. The properties can be dropped under any selected row, and they start with the next highest sequence number available in the grid.

Attributes tab

On the Attributes tab, you can see all the attribute groups in the tree view. You can expand an attribute group to view the associated attributes from A.50.01. When you right-click an attribute group, the Display Properties command appears. You can use this command or press F4 to view the attributes in that attribute group.

When you right-click an attribute, the Show Details command appears. You can use this command or press ALT+ENTER to open a balloon pop-up showing the details of the attribute.

You can select multiple attributes and drag and drop them into the grid. The following message appears when you drag and drop the attributes. The attribute(s) are dropped in the grid and the next highest sequence number available is assigned to the attributes.

  • The new attributes dropped into the grid are auto-saved in class properties. During this auto save process, default values are used for the mandatory columns in the grid.

  • When you expand an attribute group with more than 5000 attributes associated to it, in the treeview, only the first 5000 attributes are loaded and Load More is shown at the bottom of the tree view. You can click Load More to load and view the next 5000 attributes. When you right-click Load More in the tree view, Load All appears. You can use this command to load and view all the remaining attributes in the tree view.

  • You can provide search criteria to search for attributes in the tree view. If you have more than one search criterion, you can enter them with spaces between each criterion. Click the down arrow (Find next) button to traverse down through the tree to find the next attribute. You can also press F3 to traverse down the tree. The selected attribute is highlighted.

  • You can press F9 or double-click in the Search box to view all the search criteria used previously. You can select any of the previous search criteria from the Selection list LOV.
