Set message level and timing

You can set the message level and timing for logs generated in the UTL file directory of the database server. This action helps to troubleshoot the software, for example, during export to SmartPlant Isometrics.

  1. Click Administration > XA20 Options.

  2. On the Options dialog box, select Database Logs.

  3. Enter a number between -99 and 99 in the Message Level box.

All messages with a level equal to or lower than the entered value are written to the log file.

  4. If needed, select the Timing option.

This option controls whether the time is captured when a message occurs.

  • These settings are the same as on A.60.61 User Preferences in Smart Materials.

  • Changing these settings in Smart Reference Data also affects all log files generated in Smart Materials.
