Comments - Intergraph Smart Reference Data - Help - Hexagon

The Comments functionality allows you to add comments for a row in the Property view, Explorer view, Grids, or Forms.

Add comments

1. Select the row for which you want to add comments.

   If you want to add comments to Property View, then you must first load the data.

2. Click Comments . The Comments grid appears.

   

3. Click Edit Grid .

4. Click New and enter your comments.

5. Click Save grid .

6. Click Read-only grid to close the Comments window.

View and edit comments in the Property view

1. Load the data in to Property View for which you want to add comments.

2. Follow the steps available in Add comments section to add your comments.

View and edit comments in the Explorer view

1. You can view or edit the comments in one of the following ways:

   • Right-click on the node for which you want to view the comments. Select comments option.

   • We can also select the node and click on the comments button in the explorer view tool strip.

2. After the comments window appears, follow the steps available in Add comments section to add your comments.

1. Select the row for which you want to add your comments.

2. Follow the steps available in Add comments section to add your comments.

View and edit comments in the Forms

1. Follow the steps available in Add comments section to add your comments.

• Currently, Comments functionality is provided in explorer view for the pages that do not have basic or virtual grids.

• Set explicit focus on the required control if you are using comments functionality for features other than basic grids, virtual grids, or explorer view.
