  1. Click SRD > XS10 Component Manager > XS1040 Table Management.

  2. Select Table Types (for Details)/Tables/Table Groups/Table Details from the list in the tree view.

  3. Click + adjacent to any table type to view the tables associated with the table type.

  4. Double-click a table to open the Table Groups grid.

    SHARED Tip You can also select Tabledetail Dependencies/Table Groups/Table Details from the list in the tree view and double-click a table detail dependency to open the Table Groups grid.

  5. Click a table group row header for which you want to create table group links.

    You can view the Table Group Links grid below the Table Groups grid.

  6. In the Table Group Links grid, click Edit Gridedit_grid.

  7. To add a new table group link, click Add Row addrow.

  8. Select the table name from the Selection list LOV, and click Add.

    From the List of values window, you can click + adjacent to a table name, and select the table group, to add them to the Table Group Links grid.

  9. Click Save grid save and then click Read-only grid readonly to set the grid back to read-only mode.

  10. To delete a linked table group, right-click the row header, and click Delete or press DELETE key.

  • A table group can be linked only once to a parent table group.

  • You cannot link table groups to a parent table group belonging to a product group if you are logged into the project.

  • You cannot delete a table group if it is linked to other table groups.

  • To link a table group to another table group, the corresponding parent tables must be linked.

Highlight table group and table from Table Group Links grid

To highlight a table group:

  • Select and right-click the required cell in the Table Group Code column and click Highlight Table Group. (or)

  • Right-click a row header and click Highlight > Table Group.

To highlight a table:

  • To highlight a table, select and right-click the required cell in the Table Name column and click Highlight Table. (or)

  • Right-click a row header and click Highlight > Table.
