  1. Click Integration > XI10 SPIso > XI1010 Master Data > XI101060 Define End Preparations.

  2. View all available end preparations.

  • The installation process loads the default end preparations data and assigns the end preparations to SKEYs. You can see the assignments on the Define SKEYs screen. For more information, see Define symbol keys.

  • The transfer process uses the data defined on the Define SKEYs screen to populate the interface data in M_SPISO_EXP_SPEC_IDENTS. For an SKEY without any end preparation definitions, the transfer process uses SmartPlant Isometrics default settings.

To modify the data transferred to SmartPlant Isometrics, the following options are available:

    • You can assign different end preparations to SKEYs on the Define SKEYs screen.

    • You can assign different end preparations to records in M_SPISO_EXP_SPEC_IDENTS using code in M_PCK_SPISO_CUSTOM.GENERAL_CIP. For more information, see Customization.

Modifying end preparation data can cause errors during the transfer process and unexpected behavior in SmartPlant Isometrics. To restrict who can change end preparation data, an administrator should set the role assignments for the End Preparations screens to read-only on the Roles and Menus screen in Smart Materials Web (see Administration > Global Setup > Roles and Menus - Roles).
