  1. Click SRD > XS10 Component Manager > XS1010 Commodity/Ident Management.

  2. Open the Commodity Group/Part/Commodity Code/Tag Number view.

  3. Navigate down through the hierarchy, and double-click a commodity code to open the grid.

  4. Click the Additional Tag Information tab at the bottom of the grid.

  5. Click Edit grid EditGrid.

  6. Click Add row PropertiesNew.

  7. In the Tag Number box, type a number.

  8. In the Document Code box, use the Selection list LOV to select a code.

  9. Click Save grid SaveGrid.

  10. Click Read-only grid ReadOnly.

  • This information is used in the ident code according to the definition of the ident key for rule. For more information, see Define ident rule.

  • You can copy the tag number and project-specific information from other projects or product groups. Set the grid to read-only and click Copy at the top of the grid.
