Describes the colors used in the chart:

  • Ready = Completed works. Completed work load and date in chart is based on actual work time reported from shop floor.

  • Reserved = Rough estimate of work load for order’s cutting work phases before parts are nested. Reserved cutting work load is calculated based on cutting time of order item’s part geometry and shown in lists as customer order items. Scheduled date of reserved work load is based on customer order’s backwards calculated static scheduling.

  • Booked = Final accurately calculated work load for orders work phase. For order’s cutting work phases booked work time is available after nesting. Work time calculation is based on nesting using accurate cutting path and other nesting related information. After nesting reserved load is replaced by more accurate booked load. For part related work phases more accurate booked time can be usually calculated already before nesting and shown in booked bar in chart. Booked capacity reservation is based on dynamic scheduling.

  • Sales Orders (SSC) / Unreleased (ENT) = Work load of orders that are waiting for releasing production. Scheduled date of sales order’s work load is based on customer order’s backwards calculated static scheduling.

  • Quotation = Quotation load shows work load calculated using Quotation Timing feature in SPx Sales. Scheduled date of quotation work load is based on quotation’s backwards calculated static scheduling. Calculated quotation work load value is multiplied by probability percent (Trade estimated %) of quotation to be accepted by customer. In practice this means that most likely accepted quotations are showing bigger work load values than unlikely ones.

  • Static Load = Static load chart bar is indicating result of order’s or nesting’s rough-cut planning (Static Scheduling). Scheduling results are used to get a rough time frame when the order item and its work phases should be executed. These time frames are also used in detailed dynamic scheduling. When works are rescheduled using detailed dynamic scheduling, static load will stay unaffected.

  • Capacity = Work place capacity calculated in SPx System Setting’s capacity calculation rules and shift calendars.
