Marking the profile in the profile robot might contain text markings and line markings. Depending on the machinery, text and lines are marked separately or at the same time. Line marking is defined as the unit [mm/s] and Text marking as [s/marking], indicating text marking time per one text location regardless of the length of the text. Certain machines do the marking during feeding, in which case marking times can be set as empty.

In some machines, inverse bending lines are marked on the bottom of the bars, and the profile material needs to be flipped before marking. The parameter "Inverse Bending Setup" [s/material] defines the work time used for flipping the stock material and for other related actions. Flipping time is calculated only once per stock material. If material needs to be flipped back, the flipping time should be doubled.

An optional parameter value "Line Marking (Inverse bending)" [mm/s] defines work time for marking inverse bending lines. If this value is not given, all marking lines are calculated using the speed value "Line Marking". If speed value is given, the parameter value "Line Marking" is used for all other lines than inverse bending lines.

Also "Marking Tool Change" [s/part] can be defined. This time value is included once per part to process time whenever there is at least one text or line marking in the part.
