Click Product Structures > Operations to start the function.
On the upper side of the view there is a list of all structure groups. Structure group stands for the upper level under which there are either one or more product structures. A product structure is always linked to a customer, so that structures of certain customer can be gathered under the same structure group. Structure groups can be searched with the help of the search tools of the list.
New Structure Group
Creates a new product structure group.
Change Structure Group
Adds the selected lines from the upper list for editing. If some structure groups are already being edited, they will stay where they are.
Delete Structure Group
Deletes the selected lines of the upper list.
The lower list includes the contents of the selected structure group of the upper list. As a default, it shows the main levels, but with the option Show all levels, all the structure group lines display.
Click Change Structures on the upper list, to select single structures for editing. This option can be used when many different structures are under one structure group, and only part of them should be edited. If some structure groups are already being edited, they will stay where they are.
It is also possible to do searches on product structures based on the lower list. If a structure that fulfills the search conditions can be found, the data of the structure group will be read to the upper list in which the structure in question belongs to.
