This document contains a general description of the functions, which means that all the functions and data fields of views described here might not necessarily be in your environment.

Settings

  • Order and Quotation Texts

With help of this window, stable phrases in different languages can be saved to the database and attached to orders and quotations. Texts which are marked as default will be printed on every order and quotation, unless the user deletes, increases, or changes them before the printing.

On the upper side of the window there is a hidden list which can be opened and from which you either select Quotation, Order, or Both. The selection determines the document to which the text will be attached. In the next step you open a list in which you select the language to be used. Select Default for each text that you want to print on every document (quotation/order) in the language in question.

Texts which do not appear often, but are still needed, are also saved. For these texts, Default is not checked. These texts are shown in a different list than the default texts when printing the final document. They can be added to the document to be printed if needed.

Type the text in the Text box. Then, click Add on the right side of the lower list. The software transfers the text to the lower list and updates the database. In the Active text column, the number 0, 1, or 2 displays.

  • 0 indicates quotation texts

  • 1 indicates order texts

  • 2 indicates that the text is used both in quotations and orders

Texts can be saved in all the languages which were saved while giving the country data, and for all other languages the default texts will be used. When all the repeated quotation and order texts in the given language are written and the definitions are selected and added to the database, their printing order will be defined with the arrow buttons on the left side of list.

Changing the contents or definitions of a text passage

  1. Select the appropriate options from the Active and Language lists.

  2. Select the text from the lower list.

The text displays in the upper list.

  3. Make the necessary changes to the definitions and the text.

  4. Click Save on the right side of the lower list.

Click Delete on the right side of the lower list to remove a text passage from the database.

Click Refresh to read the lower list again.

Texts can later be selected quotation- or order-specific, but all changes in the contents of the texts can only be made in this window.
