The search toolbar is used to search for invoices that contain the specified criteria. Select the invoice field that you want to search from the drop down on the left side of the toolbar. The contents of the drop down depend on the active list view configuration.
Search criteria is entered in the text fields on either side of the operator drop
down. Several search criteria can be used at the same time. Click Search 
to search using the defined criteria. Click Reset 
to clear the defined criteria. Clicking Search with no criteria defined displays everything in the list.
Available Operators
Equals =
Equals means to look for invoices that contain the criteria exactly. However, the equal mark can also mean OR. Therefore, you can define a search with the criterion Invoice No and enter 1* and 2* into the text boxes to return invoices that start with either 1 or 2.
Not Equals !=
Search returns invoices that do not have the defined criterion.
Greater Than Less Than ><
Search returns invoices that match between the two criteria. Wild cards are not allowed with this operator. For example, if you want to search for all invoices where the total price is between 5000 and 10000, you would define your search like this:
Available Wildcards
"" (two double quotes) - in the left text box means the search criterion is blank
? (question mark) - replaces one character
_ (underscore) - replaces one character
* (asterisk) - replaces multiple characters
% (percent mark) - replaces multiple characters
