Strip Auto Nesting is located on the Nesting drop-down menu.
Strip Auto Nesting automatically nests strips as a multi-torch, or individually at a common line cutting distance. The software aligns the left or right edges of the parts when nesting strips individually. This enables you to use the same layout (for example: 13 + 13 strips) to cut several strip layouts with a multi-torch.

Actions
Contains the Create Nesting button.
Basic Parameters
Contains various parameters used to create a strip auto nesting (see the figure below).
Current Work area
Nests strips to the plates that are open to the work area.
Results View (Buffered)
Nests strips to as many plates needed to nest all strips.
Strategy
Displays a list of automatic nesting strategies. Select either Edge or Rule-based (see the figure below).
Torch count
Specifies the torch count used in nesting (target or maximum).
Nesting origin
Specifies the nesting origin location.
You can change the default nesting direction using the Nesting Origin parameter. You can create the nesting from the bottom left and top corners of the plate to the right, or from the bottom right and top corners to the left. Correspondingly, the nesting direction is upward from the lower corner and downward from the upper corner. At that time, the multi-torch direction is bottom-up (torch distances are positive) and top-down (torch distances are negative).
Create Cut Path
Creates a strip cut path automatically. You define the parameters for creating a cut part in the Strip Cut frame.
Head Cut
Creates a cut path for the strip head when selected.
Create Stack Sheet
Creates the stack sheet from similar nestings. The parameter is used in the result view.
One geometry per plate
Nests one type of geometry onto each plate. This is useful when you select the multiple geometries from the visual menu for auto-nesting.
Optional Parameters
Thermal compensation length
Specifies the length of thermal compensation given to the straight geometry of strips. This parameter extends the geometry with the given value. You can apply this to active parts or to all parts in the visual menu. Click Set to accept extended geometries.
Plate length
Specifies the plate length value used by nesting.
Plate width
Specifies the plate width value used by nesting.
You can resize the used plate in the nesting work area, or pass the given length and width to the nesting buffer.
Rules
Includes a parameter that affects nesting order and indicates whether the longest or the widest geometry is nested first. This parameter is available when Strategy is set to Rule-based.
Collision Distances
Enables you to enter different collision distances from the left, right, bottom, and top edges of a plate.
Material Group
Specifies the material group initialized according to the topmost material in the visual menu. This parameter is read-only.
Material Thickness
Specifies the thickness of the top article in the visual menu. Not editable.
Part-Part
Specifies the collision distance between strips, including multi-torch strips.
Kerf Width
Specifies the width of the kerf. Calculated value is twice of compensation value. The kerf width defines the collision distance between strips.
Part-Sheet Left
Specifies the collision distance between the strip and the left edge of the plate
Part-Sheet Right
Specifies the collision distance between the strip and the right edge of the plate.
Part-Sheet Bottom
Specifies the collision distance between the strip and the left bottom of the plate.
Part-Sheet Top
Specifies the collision distance between the strip and the left top of the plate.
