After nesting is complete, you can minimize the sheet horizontally and vertically, if necessary. Minimizing a sheet decreases the size of the sheet to the collision distance of the nested parts. In the figure below, the example on the left shows a sheet before minimizing. The example on the right shows the minimized sheet.
You can only minimize articles.
To minimize a sheet:

Click a sheet edge to activate the sheet.

Use the options on the Manipulate menu in the State Manager to change the sheet size.

Click Minimize sheet in y-direction (see 1 in the figure below) to minimize the sheet width.

Click Minimize sheet in x-direction (see 2 in the figure below) to minimize the sheet height.

Click Minimize sheet (see 3 in the figure below) to minimize the sheet in both horizontal and vertical direction.
