Cutter Path Cutter Path ICON enables you to edit existing movements and add new movements. You can add new path points to make dodges, arrange the cutting path, move the path origin, and so forth.

Click Cutter Path Cutter Path ICON to display the Edit Cutter Path options in the State Manager.

Actions

Contains commands for editing the cutting path and altering its movements. The properties that display depend on the selected action.

Activate

Enables you to edit the movement machining mode and part layer. To use Activate , do the following:

  1. Click Cutter Path Cutter Path ICON, and then click Activate .

  2. Click a movement.

  3. Edit the properties in the State Manager. For example, change the path movement from free cutting to marking line.

Add Movement

Enables you to create new movements. The new movement begins at the end point of the last movement. To create a new movement, enter new coordinates in the State Manager, or click in the work area. If the new movement intersects with a profile, the software automatically changes the movement into a rapid path movement.

Coordinates

X, Y

Specifies the coordinates the movement end point.

Mode

Specifies how the software draws the movements. Select Free or Orthogonal.

Dodge

Enables you to alter the movement by adding new path points. Click a movement to add a path point. Drag path points to new locations. The start and end points do not move. Press SHIFT + click a path point to delete the path point.

Arrange

Enables you to change the cutting sequence of movements. Drag a movement on top of the start point of another movement. The software changes the cutting sequence.

NC-Insert

Adds new NC-commands to the cutting path.

To insert an NC-command:

  1. Click NC-Insert , and then select an NC-command from the File Name menu.

  2. Point to a rapid movement or a lead movement; the cursor snaps to the end points. Click the movement to insert the command.

The software displays the inserted NC-command in the work area while NC-Insert is active.

To save an NC-command:

  1. Click NC-Insert , and enter a command in the NC-Insert Text box.

  2. Type a name for the command in the File Name box.

  3. Click Save .

To remove a saved NC-command from the list:

  1. Click NC-Insert , and select the command to remove from the File Name list.

  2. Click Remove .

Path origin

Enables you to move the origin. Drag the origin along the pate edges, or enter new coordinates. Alternatively, select a location from the Origin Alignment list ..

Use Snap to bounds to move the path origin to the minimum rectangle of an asymmetrical plate. Select Snap to bounds, and then select a location from the Origin Alignment list. The software displays the minimum rectangle borders in the work area, as shown below.
