Follow these general cutting rules when creating cutting paths.

  • Cut the holes of the part or the inner profiles first.

  • Cut parts within the holes of other parts before cutting the holes.

  • The start location of the outer profile should be at the edge of the plate so that the part stays with the plate as long as possible. Weak edges are always cut first.

  • Make all of your markings before cutting if you are using water plasma.

  • If you are cutting using gas, you must handle parts one at a time. Do the marking first. Cut the holes next. Cut the part last.
